Exploration:
Stress can be frustrating and unhealthy — but research shows that how we feel about stress makes a big difference. When we see stress as helpful, a sign of our body energizing to meet a challenge, then it doesn’t harm us as much. In fact, a feeling like being nervous is very similar to the feeling of excitement. The difference is how we feel about it. Think of the stressors you have in your life — is it possible to re-imagine one of them as a healthy response from your body?
